Hannah and Zack’s vibrant Faena wedding in Miami Beach was a kaleidoscope of color, art, and personal meaning from start to finish. As a wedding photographer, I live for days like this — ones that are artful and emotional, high-energy yet deeply connected. My Zannah Forever gave me everything: style, soul, and nonstop joy.

A Contemporary Love Story
Before we dive into the wedding day, let’s rewind. Hannah met the Mann family through her role as Development Director at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen, CO, where Zack’s mom served on the board. Their families first connected at the J Bar in 2017, when Hannah’s mom was relocating to Rhode Island — where the Manns are from. Zack developed a crush on Hannah that night, but they stayed friends for years, meeting up for concerts, ski days at Cloud Nine, and spontaneous hangs between Aspen and NYC.
In 2020, amid personal loss and a global pandemic, they realized life was too short to wait. They started dating during lockdown — swapping wild nights out for candlelit dinners at home — and quickly became inseparable. Zack and Hannah, soon affectionately dubbed “Zannah,” moved to Denver and built a life rooted in love, laughter, and travel.
The proposal? Pure Aspen magic. On a quiet bridge behind Hannah’s house, with Lukas Nelson playing and kayakers floating by, Zack popped the question. (He’d secretly taken Hannah’s signet ring to the jeweler while she was recovering from knee surgery to get her size right.)

Getting Ready With Intention
The wedding day was a clear, breezy November afternoon in Miami Beach — ideal for the seaside celebration they envisioned. Hannah worked with stylist Olivia Ivey Bannock to curate a fashion-forward wardrobe that reflected the energy of the day. Her ceremony look: a dramatic strapless gown with tiered tulle and architectural lines that moved like a dream. Zack complemented her perfectly in a tailored sand-hued suit and soft pink tie.
The bridesmaids brought the color — each in shades of bold pinks, hot corals, and warm oranges. Their joyful palette popped against the ocean backdrop and mirrored the vibrant Miami flowers used throughout the celebration. Every getting-ready look, beach party outfit, and detail was styled with intention and a love for color.
One especially emotional moment: Hannah carried her great-great-great (lost track here) grandmother’s heirloom wedding veil, dating back to the 1700s. Though she didn’t wear it down the aisle, she held it for a quiet portrait — honoring the generations of women in her family who had worn it before.

Ceremony at Faena Miami Beach
The couple chose the Faena in Miami Beach for its blend of tropical glamour, creative spirit, and personal roots. Zack is a University of Miami alum whose parents now live part-time in the city, and Hannah had long visited for Art Basel work trips — making it feel like a second home.
Their ceremony unfolded on Faena Beach, where guests gathered among palm trees and ocean breeze. The focal point was an extraordinary grand floral arch — a dramatic burst of color and texture crafted by Jose Graterol. Bursting with lush tropical blooms in shades of magenta, coral, orange, and yellow, the arch framed the couple beautifully against the coastal horizon. It felt more like a living sculpture than decor — and set the tone for the artful celebration to come.

Cocktail Hour by the Mammoth
As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests made their way from the beach to cocktail hour, gathering around Faena’s iconic golden mammoth sculpture. The scene was magical — soft lighting, ocean breeze, and a growing buzz of anticipation. One of the most talked-about details was the oversized white block letters spelling out “Zannah.” Friends and family took turns posing for photos in front of it, making it both a playful decor moment and a memory-maker. It was the perfect transition between the ceremony and the art-filled reception still to come.

An Artful Faena Reception
Reception design by Jose Graterol was a masterclass in color and texture. Bright tropical florals — orchids, birds of paradise, pincushion proteas — bloomed across every table. Lighting transformed the space as night fell. Event projection mapping wrapped the Faena Forum walls, moving from Miami’s skyline to swirling abstract florals to lush digital blooms. It was immersive, electric, and unlike anything I’ve seen.
For their first dance, Thievery Corporation performed live with Lou Lou singing “Sweet Tides.” Goosebumps. The entire room was glowing — literally and emotionally.

After-Party Energy
After dinner and dancing, Zannah changed into matching after-party looks that echoed the lush, jungle walls of Faena’s lobby. Hannah’s fuzzy red heels deserve their own moment — just like every detail of this unforgettable night.
Their wedding was proof that when you plan a day that reflects who you are — colorful, meaningful, and fun — it never goes out of style.
