Elisa and Olivier’s wedding in Portofino was nothing short of a dream. With a backdrop of the Italian Riviera, lush florals, and golden summer light, their day was a beautiful reflection of their personalities: elegant, romantic, and full of life. As a couple living in Barcelona with roots in Switzerland, Guatemala, and France, they brought a blend of cultures and creativity. This created an unforgettable celebration.

Getting Ready at Imperiale Palace Hotel
The day began at the stunning Imperiale Palace Hotel, where the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. Elisa got ready in one of the light-filled suites, surrounded by close family and friends. The Mediterranean shimmered just outside. Her bridal look was timeless — effortless yet refined. To complement her look, Olivier’s classic, tailored suit matched the sophistication of the day.
Once ready, the couple departed for the ceremony at a local church. There, they exchanged vows in front of family and friends. The moment was filled with joy and reverence, set against the historical beauty of an Italian chapel.
After the ceremony, all guests returned to the Imperiale Palace Hotel for a relaxed cocktail hour on the terrace. At the same time, Elisa and Olivier took wedding party photos with their closest friends in the lush hotel gardens.

From Imperiale to La Cervara
As the sun began its descent, the newlyweds climbed into a vintage car and made their way to La Cervara, which is a breathtaking villa perched on the cliffs above the Portofino coastline. After arriving at La Cervara, they took a quiet moment for themselves to explore the terraced gardens and courtyards, capturing their bridal portraits before joining the celebration. They were surrounded by sea views and blooming greenery.
At the same time, guests made their way from Imperiale to La Cervara, where a second cocktail hour awaited them upon arrival. Set in the villa’s lush garden with views of the Ligurian Sea, the setting was nothing short of enchanting. As cocktail hour unfolded, a mariachi band played lively tunes, adding festive energy while guests sipped drinks and admired the sunset. Elisa, who has a passion for event planning, designed the entire look of the wedding herself. It showed in every thoughtful detail.

A Reception Under the Stars
The reception was nothing short of magical. Guests dined al fresco beneath a canopy of string lights, candlelight and floral arrangements which filled the long tables with warmth and texture. Mariela Aprosio’s floral design created a lush, romantic scene that was rich with color, movement and layered details.
As evening settled in, laughter echoed through the courtyard and the celebration took on a golden glow. From heartfelt toasts and spirited dancing to joyful conversations, every moment felt like the perfect continuation of a deeply meaningful day.
Elisa and Olivier’s wedding wasn’t only about stunning views and dreamy design — although there was plenty of both. More importantly, it was a celebration of connection, culture, and the things that matter most: love, family, and the magic of gathering in a place that felt like home.
