Miami continues to be one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the United States — and for good reason. With its mix of historic estates, tropical gardens, waterfront views, luxury hotels, and modern art spaces, Miami offers an incredible range of venues for couples planning weddings in 2026 and 2027.
Whether you’re local or planning a destination wedding, this guide highlights some of the best wedding venues in Miami, along with honest insight to help you choose the space that truly fits your vision.

Why Miami Is a Great Destination for Weddings
Miami offers a rare combination of:
- Diverse wedding venues within close proximity
- Easy travel access for destination guests
- World-class food, hotels, and nightlife
- Outdoor ceremony options almost year-round
Couples can turn their wedding into a full weekend experience — welcome parties, beach days, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches — all in one vibrant city.
From a photography perspective, Miami also offers beautiful natural light, architectural variety, and stunning sunsets that elevate wedding imagery.

Miami Wedding Weather: What Couples Should Know
🌴 The Best Time to Get Married in Miami
If you’re planning a wedding in Miami, November through April is strongly recommended.
During these months, couples can expect:
- Lower humidity
- More comfortable temperatures
- Fewer rain showers
- Better conditions for outdoor ceremonies and guests
☀️ Summer Weddings in Miami (My Honest Advice)
While some couples do choose to get married in Miami during the summer, I highly do not recommend it.
From experience:
- Extreme heat and humidity can be uncomfortable for couples and guests
- Daily tropical thunderstorms are common
- Hurricane season runs from June through November
- Outdoor ceremonies often require heavy shade or full tenting
If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding or garden ceremony, November–April offers the best overall experience.
